SIZING GUIDE | How To Measure your Dog's Collar
Choosing the correct size collar for your dog can be tricky but also very important. A collar that is too big will just slip off, and a collar that is too small will be either impossible to get on or dangerous for your pet.
HOW TO MEASURE
- It's easy! Take a cloth measuring tape and wrap it around the middle of the neck, which is where you want the dog collar to sit. Make sure the collar is snug but not tight. For best fit we suggest giving 1-2" more to true neck sizing to allow for slight hang.
- If you do not have a flexible tape measure then use a string or something similar and wrap it around the middle of your dogs neck and then measure against a tape measure.
- We always suggest to go up to the next available size if if your dog neck size is not available, (i.e: If it measures at a 19 inch go to a 20 inch not an 18 inch). The only exception to this rule is if your dogs head is slim, for example a Doberman Pincher Has a slimmer head so there should be limited slack.
