Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

PLEASE READ RETURN POLICIES AND MAKE SURE YOU EMAIL US AT BMD@BADMOFODOG.COM FOR INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE SENDING BACK TO EXCHANGE OR GET A REFUND. WE WILL NOT EXCHANGE OR REFUND IF INSTRUCTIONS HAVE NOT BEEN EMAILED TO YOU BEFORE SENDING IT BACK.

WE STRIVE TO MAKE OUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY WITH THEIR PURCHASE. BUT WE KNOW SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN. IF YOU NEED TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE YOUR PURCHASE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF ORDER BEING RECEIVED YOU CAN RETURN IT FOR A REFUND OR EXCHANGE. ALL WE ASK IS FOR THE PRODUCT YOU ARE REQUESTING TO EXCHANGE BE IN RESELL-ABLE CONDITIONS TO BE ELIGIBLE. FOR A REFUND WE STRICTLY ASK THAT THE ITEMS BE IN UNOPENED ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND UNWORN. THIS MEANS THE PLASTIC WRAPPING ON THE CHAIN HAS TO BE UNOPENED. 

ONCE THE RETURNED ITEM IS RECEIVED WE WILL INSPECT, AND EMAIL A SHIPPING INVOICE FOR RETURN SHIPPING COSTS, ONCE THAT IS PAID WE WILL PREP YOUR ORDER TO SHIP.YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPPING CHARGES ASSOCIATED WITH SENDING THE RETURN BACK TO US, AND FOR SHIPPING COSTS ASSOCIATED TO RETURNING THE ITEM BACK TO YOU. THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING COST IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

PLEASE ALLOW 1-14 BUSINESS DAYS FOR EXCHANGES TO BE PROCESSED BACK INTO OUR SYSTEM. USPS delivers  all returns to us, every Friday after it has been received to the local post office.

WE DO NOT REPLACE OR EXCHANGE ITEMS THAT ARE DAMAGED DUE TO DOGS CHEWING ON LEASHES, BUCKLES OR ANY OTHER PARTS OF THE PRODUCTS, OR IF ITEM HAS BEEN TAMPERED WITH BY CUSTOMER. WE WILL NOT EXCHANGE OR RETURN IF CUSTOMER TRYS TO RESIZE ON THEIR OWN, OR FOR NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR (SUCH AS SCRATCHES)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A EXCHANGE -

THE ITEMS NEED TO BE IN BRAND NEW, HAIR-FREE, UNALTERED, UNDAMAGED (UNLESS DEFECT) AND UNWASHED CONDITION. ITEMS NEED TO BE RETURNED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE RECEIVE DATE FOR A ON SITE EXCHANGE.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND -

FOR A REFUND PRODUCTS HAVE TO BE IN UNOPENED ORIGINAL PACKAGING, UNWORN AND RECEIVED BACK TO US WITHIN 7 DAYS AFTER PRODUCT BEING DELIVERED. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.

NO REFUNDS ARE ALLOWED ON ORDERS THAT INCLUDE ENTRIES TO WIN ITEMS. IF YOU PURCHASED DURING A GIVEAWAY YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A EXCHANGE ONLY.

ALL REQUESTS TO CANCEL A ORDER WILL BE SENT TO BACK OFFICE, THIS TAKES APPROXIMATELY 7 BUSINESS DAYS TO COMPLETE. IF THE ORDER FILLS BEFORE CANCELLATION, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW REFUND INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE.
